Three to six times more sweet spot.
Thanks to the curved face, the sweet spot is no longer a point. It is a vertically elongated ellipse. Approximately 1.5 centimetres on each side of centre horizontally. Around 6 millimetres on the vertical axis. On a flat face, the vertical sweet spot is 1 to 2 millimetres.
A larger sweet spot means you hit it more often. Every putt rolls the same distance. More predictability. More consistency. Less variation. Better results.

The curved face spreads the vertical sweet spot to about 6 millimetres, against 1 to 2 on a flat face. Off-centre strikes still come off with similar energy, so mishits roll close to the same distance.

A shorter skid,

With a flat putter, if your hands sit a little forward or back, the ball comes off differently every time. The curved face does not care nearly as much, so your putts leave the face the same way, putt after putt.
Every ball still skids at the start. That is physics, on any putter. What the curved face changes is how long and how repeatable that skid is. A shorter, steadier skid means the ball holds its line sooner, and your distance gets easier to judge, putt after putt.
Less skid. So it rolls sooner. Straighter line.

Your hands change.
The launch doesn't.
Your hands might not always be in the same position. Forward press, neutral, slightly behind. On a flat face, every variation changes the effective loft. Different loft, different launch, different skid, different distance. Press too far forward and you can even de-loft the face entirely.
Thanks to the designed curved face, the loft varies continuously from bottom to top. The curved face does not punish exactly where your hands are, the way a flat face does. Press your hands forward or hang them back, the effective loft moves much less. So the ball launches more consistently.
